Lucerne, Switzerland, May 12, 2015 - Top-seeded Victoria Bieneck and Julia Grossner of Germany led eight teams from Tuesday's women's qualifier into Wednesday's opening Main Draw rounds of the inaugural FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour Lucerne Open 2015.
Bieneck and Grossner defeated pairs from Switzerland and The Netherlands Tuesday to advance to the "money" rounds in their 26th FIVB World Tour event together. The Germans teamed last May to win a FIVB "open" event in Anapa, Russia.
