VIDEO: Binstock and Schachter dreaming of Olympic gold

Lucerne, Switzerland, May 14, 2015 - With this week's FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour Lucerne Open 2015 the second qualifying event for the Rio 2016 Olympics, Canadians Jason Binstock and Sam Schachter talked about their goals for the Summer Games in South America.

The Canadians split their first two matches in the Lucerne Open Thursday by defeating a Chinese pair in their second contest after losing to an Estonian pair initially in the men's Main Draw.  The seventh-seeded Binstock and Schachter conclude pool play Friday against 10th-seeded Murat Giginoglu and Volkan Gogtepe of Turkey, who lead Pool G with a 2-0 record.

The Lucerne Open is Binstock and Schachter ninth FIVB World Tour event together as the Canadians have posted top five finishes in their last four events, including a gold medal finish last November in Argentina and a fifth-place placement in the 2015 season opener in China.
