Fuzhou, China, April 22, 2015 – Summer Ross and Jennifer Fopma may have only just joined forces, but they are hoping their different characters on the court will lead them to success on the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour 2015.
The pair came through qualification at the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour Fuzhou Open 2015 on Wednesday and will line up in Pool B of the Main Draw with their first match against experienced compatriots Kerri Walsh Jennings and April Ross.
But for now the newly-formed tandem are happy to gain the experience playing with each other.
“I think we have a good chemistry,” Fopma said. “I’m pretty fiery when I play and Summer is quiet. But I think I pull out a lot of fire in her so it’s kind of fun.”
