Prague, Czech Republic, May 23, 2015 – Spain’s Paula Soria Gutierrez and Angela Lobato Herrero reached the quarterfinals of the FIVB Beach Volleyball Prague Open on Saturday with a hard fought 2-1 (21-11, 18-21, 10-15) win over USA’s Brittany Hochevar and Heather Lee McGuire.
“This is so amazing, such a surprise for us”, Lobato said. It’s only the second time they are among the last eight, after finishing fourth at the Anapa Open in 2014.
