One of the youngest qualified teams, Poland’s Baran/Gruszczynska, both 20, will be seeded 35th at this year’s FIVB World Championships. Both playing with Katarzyna Kociolek in Umag, Croatia in different years, Baran, who lives in Krakow, won the FIVB U-19 World Championships in 2011 and Gruszczynska, who resides in Wisenia, won the FIVB U-21 World Championships in 2013. Together, entering 2015, they have played three FIVB World Tour events as a team with a best of 25th place in 2014 in Stare Jablonki, Poland. Individually, both players have participating in 11 total FIVB international events and Gruszcynska earned a 17th place in Xiamen, China in 2014 with Kociolek.  This will be the first appearance for both players in the FIVB World Championships and in the Netherlands.
