Representing their homeland in Kazakhstan, Mashkova/Tsimbalova will be seeded 25th in the FIVB World Championships. Both residing in Almaty, Mashkova, 27 and 6-2 and Tsimbalova, 27, 5-11 have teamed up in 46 FIVB World Tour events with a best finish through 2014 of fifth place twice. Mashkova/Tsimbalova have also competed in a number of FIVB CEV Challenger and Sattellite events and overall Mashkova has played in 63 FIVB international events and Tsimbalova has participated in 56 total FIVB International events.. In their first trip to the FIVB World Championships, they finished 17th together in 2013 in Stare Jablonki, Poland. In three previous trips to The Hague, the Kazakhstan duo competed together and finished 41st in 2011, 33rd in 2013 and 25th in 2014.
