Fuzhou, China, April 25, 2015 – The Bronze medal at the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour Fuzhou Open 2015 went to Youssef Krou/Edouard Rowlandson from France in a turnaround match against USA’s Todd Rogers/Stafford Slick 2-1 (19-21, 21-17, 15-9).
The US team had the upper hand in the first set but Krou/Rowlandson fought back well.
“We’re really, really happy. We absolutely don’t know how we came back from the groups because we lost the first two games of the competition and were really down at this point and didn’t know why we weren’t playing our game. So finishing with a bronze medal is like coming out from nowhere,” said Rowlandson.
