News FIVB 05/04/2013 Accreditation open for FIVB Beach Volleyball World Cup Final Lausanne, Switzerland, April 05, 2013 - TheInternational Volleyball Federation (FIVB) is pleased to announce that theaccreditation process for the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Cup Final to be heldin Campinas, Brazil from May 29 to June 2 is now open. The FIVB Beach Volleyball World Cup Final, is thecrowning event in a three-year process, which started with the Continental Cup.The Continental Cup ran from 2010 to 2012 as aLondon Olympic Games qualifying event - and included the FIVB World Cup OlympicQualification in Moscow, Russia in June, 2012, which also qualified teams forthe London Olympics.The FIVB Beach Volleyball World Cup Final will nowdetermine the champion country from the Continental Cup, featuring 10 countriesper gender represented by one team each. Prize money of $150,000 per gender ison offer to the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Cup Final participants.The 10 countries will include the winners of eachof the Continental Cup Finals and the national federations who qualified amaximum of two teams at the 2012 Olympic Games via the Olympic rankings.
